Since ages, we are wishing to use an XML-schema for ActiveMath's OMDoc files...
    Or even a relax-NG schema.

Another application that would depend on this is the zoology-producer which enumerates the exercises by type and values of metadata attributes...

    thanks

Yet another need: I am right now writing, once again, some list of metadata-attributes and their possible values for use by the advanced search facilities where one can search, e.g. for learning-context or difficulty... I have no other choice than to hardcode this until we have a schema.

I could be parsing DTD but:

  • that would be another library (DTDparser probably)
  • that would require another heuristics to define such things as a "metadata attribute" instead of annotating the Schema with such a flag as "difficulty" is a metadata attribute.

Is there a hope this gets closer ?
